The new Pakistan cricket team shirt - to be used at the ICC World Cup later this month - was today unveiled at a presentation at the Pakistan High Commission in London.

The shirt was designed by BoomBoom, the official kit supplier to the Pakistan team. The attached photograph shows the Pakistan High Commissioner, Wajid Shamsul Hasan, being presented with the shirt by Mr Ali Ehsan, Managing Director of BoomBoom and Lord Newby, Chairman of Sport for Life International.

BoomBoom and Sport for Life International are working together to deliver cricket and education programmes to thousands of children in some of Pakistan’s most deprived and dangerous areas all over the country.

Commenting on the presentation, Mr Ali Ehsan said:

“BoomBoom is proud to have designed a modern and highly creative shirt that retains the strong heritage of Pakistan. We are also extremely proud to be working with Sport for Life International to help improve and enrich the lives of thousands of deprived children by giving them the ‘Freedom to Play’ cricket, and also the opportunity to benefit from education programmes, that will be delivered in international cricket grounds all over Pakistan"
